Samsung dishwashers display a short code when a cycle stops. Here are the common ones with the meaning and first fix.
4C / 4E
Means: Water supply fault — not filling.
Fix: Open the supply valve fully, straighten the inlet hose, and clean the inlet mesh filter.
5C / 5E
Means: Drain fault — not draining.
Fix: Clean the debris filter in the tub floor and clear the drain hose and pump.
LC / 1E
Means: Leak detected by the base sensor.
